This book does not aim at providing answers, let alone solutions. EXODUS TO HUMANISM puts forward some questions about the dilemma of Jews who want to stay Jewish without believing in the Religion of Judaism and then leaves it to the reader to elaborate answers.
The object of the book is not to preach to those already converted to Humanism, but rather to engage in a dialogue with the millions of the indifferent, the undecided, the don't knows and the don't cares who carry one pretending to believe without any real conviction.
Dr. David Ibry maintains that Jews should no longer rely on the obsolete religion of Judasim for the survival of their identity.
Included with his observations and experiences are arguments and explanations from 26 Jewish contributors who have either rejected Judaism or have never believed in it, including Prof. Sir Isaiah Berlin, Prof. Sir Herman Bondi, Prof Albert Eliis, Prof. Adolf Grunbaum, Rose Hacker, Prof. George Klein, Dr. Henry Morgentaler, Prof. Jean-Claude Pecker, Prof. Ernest Poser, Prof. Howard Radest, Claire Rayner, Helen Suzman, and Arnold Wesker.
David Ibry (London, England) holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Milano, Italy.
